Preserving Culture, Connecting Communities
Established in 2024, Melton Telugu Community supports Telugu-speaking residents in Melton and nearby suburbs. Our goal is to preserve Telugu culture, language and arts while fostering social connections and community wellbeing. We organise festivals, family programs, youth activities, and practical support for new migrants — always in partnership with the Melton City Council to promote multicultural harmony and active civic participation.
Melton Telugu Community works to preserve Telugu heritage through festivals, programs, and cultural activities that connect families and inspire the next generation.
We honour major Telugu festivals and traditions, bringing the community together in joy and devotion.
We organize gatherings and events that strengthen bonds among families and promote togetherness.
We support youth and family programs that encourage participation, learning, and leadership.
We promote Telugu art, dance, and language to nurture creativity and cultural pride among the young.
